This morning I tackled the basement steps. Seems that in the 95 years this house has been standing they've not been cleaned. I gave them a good scrubbing with some all-natural Dr. Brommers soap. The soap smells wonderful (I picked an almond scent) but I read some of the small print that is scattered all over the bottle and let's just say it gave me the heebie-jeebies. Creepy one-world-one-god stuff. I feel like I should be shaving my head and wearing a white robe now. *shiver* Thankfully I know that it will have no lasting effect on me since I'm a child of God...but still, creepy.

Last night I learned how to make homemade sauerkraut. It was very cool. Someday I may have to buy a crock of my own and brew me up some cabbage-of-goodness.

This weekend I joined the Sisterhood of the Traveling Boot. Yes, I know you want to know what it is. But we pinky-swore that we'd never tell. So nah-nah nah nah-nah.
