The Noticer

The Noticer by Andy Andrews is one of the best books I’ve ever read. There is so much good stuff packed into this 156-page novella that I want to read it over again right away.  It has such a good story line that I’m not sure if it’s fiction or a true story. The bottom line in this book is also the tag line on the front cover, Sometimes, all a person needs is a little perspective.  I have always believed in the power of positive thinking and this book reaffirms what I’ve long known. It doesn’t matter what happened in your past, it’s what’s happening now and what you can make of the future that’s important. You do have the power to change your circumstances. Every little thing that you do does matter and can have a major impact on the world. You may never know the influence that you have. Andy wraps these truths into a story about himself at a younger age and the man named Jones who he credits as being the force that helped change his life. I believe that this is one of those little books that should be required reading. The message is simple but often overlooked and sometimes never regarded.
