Some books draw me in on page one and others take more time. Others still never grab my attention and this is the category I need to place The Domino Effect by Davis Bunn into. I've read other books by this author and have enjoyed his works over the years but this one did not engage me at all. I didn't even make it through the first chapter before setting it aside and ultimately forgetting about it. I should know better than to put a book dow.
