Love & Care For the One and Only YOU by Michelle Medlock Adams

Love and Care for the One and Only YOU by Michelle Medlock Adams is the perfect little book for any woman who has struggled with her weight and with self-esteem because of it. Michelle's words will inspire and motivate you to do more to weigh less. She writes in a way easy to understand and includes a lot of her own stories.
There are fifty-two small (2-3 page) sections to this book and it can be read as a devotional or all at once.
Michelle also includes some recipes and stories from some of her favorite people at the end of the book.
This little book could change your life.

Lifedeck by Greg Lull

Lifedeck by Greg Lull is a 130 page guide to getting your life back under control. If you are stuck in a rut or feel like everything is spinning out of control then you may want to check this one out. There are ten chapters dealing with things like living life to the full, balancing it when it get crazy, the spiritual, physical, relational, and financial aspects of life, and even what to do with intentions.
While I didn't find this as captivating as I'd hoped, it may be more geared to men than to women. I prefer self-help books that have a lot more real-life scenarios in them.

Undaunted Hope by Jody Hedlund

Undaunted Hope by Jody Hedlund is the third in her Beacons of Hope series and is by far my favorite of the three. This was a delight to read and I finished it in just a few hours. Hard to put down with the romance intermingled with the inner turmoil of the main characters, this one has a strong female main character who will stop at nothing to ensure the children she teaches are in a safe environment.
I recommend this series to anyone who loves historical American fiction.
