Melody Carlson has long been one of the authors I know I can trust for a clean read. This book is clean but is almost juvenile. Some of the characters act so immature that I had a hard time staying focused (particularly Natalie). I would recommend this book as a YA novel and not adult fiction. It was sweet and generally easy to read (finished in about two hours) and was predictable. If you're looking for something that you can relax with on the beach then this might be the book for you.
