The Valley of the Dry Bones by Jerry B. Jenkins

Jerry B. Jenkins is back with a novel unlike any I've ever read. The Valley of the Dry Bones is set in drought-ridden California in a nearly uninhabitable era. There are a few stragglers here and there among groups of Native Americans who have never left their land. The Holdouts is one such group. This band of believers has managed to avoid captivity and eviction while living under the radar. Their location is known only to them and they do whatever they have to to survive.
This book had my full attention from the first page. It was easy to read and understand and the story came alive in my mind. With a very strong salvation message and hope in a world of hopelessness, this book shows the reader that it is possible to serve God and hear His voice no matter the circumstance. Very well written and highly recommended.
