Whisper by Mark Batterson

Mark Batterson taught many of us how to pray in The Circle Maker, and is now back to teach us how to hear the voice of God in, Whisper. I love this book. I love how he teaches us about sound, the actual sound waves, and how our ears work to hear sound. I then love how he teaches us that a whisper can command more attention than a yell. This book reminds the reader to take time to be quiet and listen. That the voice of God often comes in a whisper and we are often too busy in our noise-filled world to hear it. This is very easy to read and each chapter touches on something to draw the reader nearer to the Lord. It's become my nightly reading.
