Why I Hate Green Beans is the debut by Lincee Ray. I'd not heard of her or her blog before reading this book, but now I'm a fan. Lincee has a great writing style, it's like sitting down and listening to a friend share her deepest secrets and funniest stories. She doesn't hold back from the deep stuff either. She tells all and offers the reader hope through her stories. At first I struggled with where the book was going, but I kept reading and was soon hooked. The book is broken into several sections and each one shows her moving closer to the Lord. Her ah-ha moment will bring you to tears. Excellent book for any fan of The Bachelor, anyone who struggles with being single or has gone through a divorce. Funny and thoughtful. This is one to be shared.
