First Impressions by Debra White Smith

Uh....I'm just not feeling it with this book. I tried to get into it, I really did, but my first impression of First Impressions by Debra White Smith was, "This is going to take a lot of concentration and I don't have the time to concentrate this much on a book with this many characters..." So for me, it's a no. A true test of a book for me is how fast it makes my workout on the exercise bike go. This was a very long workout. I put it down and started over with another book and was amazed at how fast the time went.

This isn't actually a new book either. It's a re-release of something first published in 2004. I don't like when books are recycled to try to get more life out of them in this way. It just feels wrong.

Anyway, maybe this will be better for some of you who like to concentrate on what they read and read it slowly. I don't like books that begin with two pages of a breakdown of characters and who they are.

This book was provided for review by Bethany House.
