More than Meets the Eye by Karen Witemeyer

More than Meets the Eye is the latest by Karen Witemeyer and it's as good as all of her previous works. This author never disappoints. She delivers an interesting story with relatable characters and dialog so tight that you're not once distracted. She makes it easy to get caught up into the tale.

More than Meets the Eye is the story of three children on an orphan train west. If that's not enough to draw you in it goes on to involve family drama, old west gambling, bullying, and redemption. Throw in a bit of a love story (or two) and you've got a perfect novel.

This was one I finished in just two days. It was hard to put down. I love when that happens.
