The Secret to Happiness by Suzanne Woods Fisher

I admit, I have avoided this author because I thought all she did was Amish fiction, and I am not a fan at all. The Secret to Happiness, by Suzanne Woods Fisher, was absolutely delightful. I enjoyed every second of this book and have already ordered the previous book in the series. This book was the kind of book I love to read. Clean, funny, with characters I want to hang out with. Reminded me a lot of a Melody Carlson book. Just fun and sweet. Really refreshing to read it.

I was in love with this book from the first page that started in State College, PA (just minutes up the road from my house) and then moved to New England (where I was born). The characters were relatable and I loved the working through of the recipes. This book was 100% a winner for me. Can't wait to read the rest of the series and I will definitely be going back over the other works by this author.
