This is a cute little volume full of sayings from around the world. They are printed in the native language and then also in English. There is a description of the history of the saying on the opposite page. While this is cute and fun I think that after one flip through of it I'm done. It didn't hold my attention and I think that's because I'd be more interested in hearing the background of American phrases than of those from all around the world. "Mind your p's and q's" is one that was in there and I found it very interesting. Other than that they were just a little odd.
