Sacred Privilege by Kay Warren is from the heart of one pastor's wife to another. Kay writes with the authority of someone who's been there. Anyone in ministry knows that it is not an easy road. The hardest times of my life have been in the past twenty-five years of full time ministry. When I read the description of this book I broke down and ordered it immediately because it described how I've felt. In reading the book I was a little let down, probably because it didn't dig as deep as I thought it could. Perhaps this is aimed more towards younger pastor's wives who don't have a few decades under their belts. I was just hoping for a little more.
