Sea Glass Cottage, by Irene Hannon, is part of her Hope Harbor series, each one a stand-alone set in the same town. This book was relaxing and a breath of fresh air. A delight to read. I've been going through some very stressful things and this helped get my mind off of them, and to settle my thoughts. Christi and Jack have a past filled with hurts, they've both changed over the years and when she shows up unexpectedly he doesn't know what to think. The spoiled rich girl of his memories now asking him for a sizable loan. Secrets are revealed and hurts are mended, over and over, in Hope Harbor and this novel was a gentle reminder of what is important in life. Some sub-plots add to the story. Well-written and enjoyable. Even the love scenes were written with dignity. A clean read, appropriate for ages over eighteen.
