Windswept Way by Irene Hannon

Windswept Way, by Irene Hannon, is the latest installment in her Hope Harbor series. This book takes place in a fictional Oregon town, it is part of a series but reads as a stand-alone just fine. We are introduced to three main characters, Ashley, Jonathan, and Rose. Each has their own story of heartache and each comes to a place of growth and brokenness throughout the book. I enjoyed the story and really liked how the author wrote about Jonathan especially. Knowing someone who dealt with his type of disfigurement made the story more real to me. Rose was a character who took a little bit of a back seat to the others, but she was someone I felt like I would love to get to know better.

Irene Hannon writes beautiful and clean love stories. At the same time, she is also a great suspense author. She does both genres well and I always anticipate a new book from her because I know I am in for quality reading. This book did not disappoint. Looking forward to more from the Hope Harbor series.
