I love a good rom-com and what better way to remember one than to nod to it in a new story? Tacos for Two by Betsy St. Amant nods to You've Got Mail (and In the Good Old Summertime and The Shop Around the Corner) in a sweet way that doesn't detract from either storyline. Rory owns and operates a Mexican food truck that her aunt passed onto her, but she can't cook. Jude is part of a family law firm but wants to cook instead. He hires Rory to teach him how to cook and an hilarious adventure awaits. Not only are these two a dating match online (anonymously) but they start to have feelings for each other in real life too, but they soon turn to enemies as they war against each other in a food truck contest. I giggled and sighed my way through this happy tale. Each overcomes obstacles that threaten them personally and professionally. Very well-written, so much so that I missed the clues that the characters caught about each other. Loved every moment spend in Tacos for Two. This is a clean read and appropriate for readers of all ages.
