Deception by Patricia Bradley

Deception, by Patricia Bradley, is the fourth in the Natchez Trace Park Ranger series, but reads as a stand-alone novel just fine. It is long, but not to be intimidated by because it draws the reader in and keeps all attention on it throughout the book. I thought it would take me much longer to get through it, but I had it done in just three days. Lots of twists and turns that kept me guessing. This story had several layers to it and lots of losses.

The characters were well-written and the dialog moved the story forward, there weren't any pages that I glossed over due to inactivity. This was a very good book to read, well worth my time. I appreciated that it was a clean read. Romance, without being risqué. Action, without being gory.
